Recap: 5th International SIIRI SEAM Online Symposium 2025
On September 29, 2025, the fifth SIIRI SEAM Online Symposium took place, bringing together researchers and experts from the fields of biomedical engineering, materials science, surface technology, and implant research.
This year, guests from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (KPI) and the Poznań University of Technology (PUT) participated for the first time, further enriching the exchange and opportunities for future collaborations.
The symposium featured a day full of inspiring presentations, lively discussions, and innovative ideas. The topics reflected the diversity of biomedical research – ranging from bone marrow-inspired materials to guide stem cell behavior and engineered nanoparticles for biomedical applications to current research projects from PUT and KPI in the field of implant technology.
With this thematic breadth, the SIIRI SEAM Symposium emphasizes its role as an interdisciplinary platform for innovation in biomedical engineering, linking materials science, nanotechnology, regenerative medicine, implant research, and advanced analytical techniques.
