On September 4th, 2025, we had the special opportunity to welcome Dr. Nabiha Saklayen, CEO & Co-Founder of the biotech company Cellino, as part of the virtual Seminar of Women in Science.
In an inspiring combination of lecture, personal experience report, and interactive exchange, Dr. Saklayen spoke about her journey from researcher to entrepreneur. She shared open and honest insights into the challenges on the path to founding and successfully establishing a biotech company – as well as the opportunities arising from initiative, networking, and mutual support.
As CEO of Cellino, a company at the intersection of cell therapy manufacturing, AI, and automation, Dr. Saklayen combines scientific excellence with entrepreneurial vision. Moreover, she is deeply committed to supporting women in STEM and championing the growth of entrepreneurs.
Her authentic and clear manner made the seminar a genuine experience – characterized by practical takeaways, honest reflections, and motivating perspectives.
