PD Dr.-Ing. Daniel Klüß works at the Biomechanics and Implant Technology Research Laboratory (FORBIOMIT), which is part of the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery at University Medicine Rostock. In his research, Daniel Klüß conducts numerical investigations of the bone-implant interface, such as analyzing the deformation of a press-fit acetabular cup within the bone bed of the hip. His lecture is titled:
“The failure mechanisms of total joint replacements and how we are trying to prevent them”
