DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome Prof. Lars Dietrich as part of our Implant Lecture Series. \nProf. Lars Dietrich\nDepartment of Biological Sciences\nColumbia University\, New York\, USA \nProfessor Lars Dietrich’s research at Columbia University in New York State includes the study of bacterial cell-cell communication and the development of biofilms of the pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa\, which produces phenazines\, colored redox-active antibiotics that regulate gene expression and whose absence can lead to altered morphology.
