DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr.-Ing. Birgit Glasmacher as part of our Implant Lecture Series. \nProf. Birgit Glasmacher is a distinguished scientist and university professor at Leibniz University Hannover . She heads the Institute of Multiphase Processes and is a professor of Multiphase Processes in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Prof. Birgit Glasmacher has been a Fellow of EAMBES (European Alliance for Medical and Biological Engineering and Science) since 2019. Her research focuses on biomedical engineering\, particularly in the areas of biomaterials\, tissue engineering\, biohybrid systems\, implant damage mechanisms\, and cryotechnology. Accordingly\, her lecture is titled: \n„Transforming Medical Implants: The Science of Polymeric Enhancement“\n\nFind out more about Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr.-Ing.
