DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Ester Segal from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology as our guest speaker for the upcoming event. \nEster Segal is a Professor of Biotechnology and Food Engineering and leads the “Functional Nanomaterials” research group\, which focuses on the development of nanomaterials and their application in biotechnology and medicine. Her work emphasizes the development of innovative materials for biosensors\, new drug delivery methods\, and biotechnological applications. Through an interdisciplinary approach combining materials science\, chemistry\, and biology\, she aims to address global challenges in medicine and other fields. \nThe title of her lecture is: \n„Infection control at the point of care: Dual detection and drug susceptibility testing for bacteria and fungi“ \n\nLearn more about Prof. Dr. Ester Segal and her scientific work.\n\nWe would like to express our thanks to Prof. Dr. Janina Bahnemann\, who will moderate this event.
