Two Outstanding Scientists in Otorhinolaryngology Honored!

We congratulate Professor Dr. med. Thomas Lenarz on being awarded honorary membership of the Austrian Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. The award was presented to him during the 68th Austrian ENT Congress in Baden in 2024.
This distinction recognizes his exceptional contributions to the field, particularly his pioneering research, which has played a key role in advancing otorhinolaryngology. Through his innovative scientific work, clinical expertise, and long-standing commitment to supporting young researchers, Prof. Lenarz has had a lasting influence on the discipline. He continues to contribute his knowledge to Project A05, where he is providing important new impetus.
We also extend our congratulations to Professor Dr. Dr. Andrej Kral, who likewise received honorary membership. He has distinguished himself through outstanding research and is expected to contribute his expertise to Project A06 in a possible second funding period, further enriching the project.
We join the professional society in recognizing the remarkable scientific achievements of both individuals, whose work and dedication have significantly shaped the field of otorhinolaryngology.
