We are very pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Dorothea Brüggemann from the City University of Applied Sciences Bremen as a guest speaker for our next Implant Lecture.
Prof. Dr. Brüggemann leads the research group “nanoBiomaterials” and focuses on investigating cell-material interactions across different length scales. Using biophysical principles, she develops new techniques to create fibrous and porous biopolymer scaffolds, which are highly significant for cell culture studies. The results of this research offer exciting prospects for the development of multifunctional biomaterials that could be applied in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Her lecture will be titled:
“Fibrous biomaterials to support wound healing”
At this point, we would like to thank Prof. Cornelia Lee-Thedieck, who will be moderating this event.
