We are pleased to welcome Professor Mika Lindén from the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry II at Ulm University as a guest speaker for our December Implant Lecture.
Prof. Lindén is an internationally recognized expert in the field of inorganic chemistry, with a focus on mesoporous materials, in particular mesoporous silica nanoparticles. His research concentrates on the synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of porous materials, as well as their use as platforms for controlled drug delivery and biomedical applications.
In his lecture, he will present recent developments in the design of nanoporous silica-based carrier systems and discuss how pore structure and surface chemistry can be precisely tailored to control drug loading and release.
Accordingly, his lecture is titled:
“Size-Exclusion-Based, Straightforward Drug Formulation Using Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles as Carriers”
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Dr. Nina Ehlert, who will be moderating this event.
Please save the date. We look forward to your participation and an engaging scientific discussion.
