We are very pleased to welcome Prof. T. Christian Gasser as part of our Implant Lecture Series.

T. Christian Gasser
KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm

Professor Thomas Christian Gasser works at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, where his research focuses on the development of computer-based simulations, particularly of aortic aneurysms, to gain a deeper understanding of the prevailing pathophysiological processes and contribute to the development of more effective treatment recommendations. Accordingly, his lecture is titled:

“Understanding deformation mechanisms and rupture of vascular tissue towards improving clinical decision making”
