Review: Expert Lecture by Prof. Dr. Henning Windhagen as part of the MHH Patientenuniversität

On May 6, 2025, Prof. Dr. Henning Windhagen, Medical Director of the Department of Orthopedics at Diakovere Annastift/MHH, delivered a distinguished expert lecture in Lecture Hall F at MHH as part of the MHH Patientenuniversität.
In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Windhagen highlighted the importance of maintaining mobility and activity into advanced age for quality of life and the overall health development of the population. He also demonstrated how implant medicine at MHH has contributed significantly over the past 50 years through numerous innovations and improvements.
A particular focus of the lecture was the future of orthopedics: digitalization is driving the development of personalized orthopedics, which, with customized implants and robotic assistance, ensures even greater patient safety and satisfaction.
